American Abstract Expressionism

Jackson Pollock
Mark Rothko
The term "Beauty Lies Within The Eye Of The Beholder" holds true to these paintings.

The wonder and beauty of these paintings does not exist within their metaphysical depictions, rather, the wonder exists within an individual's perception of these paintings. Therefore, the meaning of this artwork changes based on each individual's perception of their own reality, which is why, these paintings can move certain individuals to the point that it brings tears to their eyes, while others can only superficially admire the paint strokes.
